  • Background in implementing or managing SAM/HAM/ITAM processes using platforms like ServiceNow, Cherwell, or similar tools.
  • Experience in conducting audits, managing compliance, and handling software licensing agreements.
  • Previous experience working as an ITAM trainer or consultant is highly desirable.

3. Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with industry-standard SAM/HAM/ITAM tools, especially ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow Software, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in software and hardware asset lifecycle management, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to implement and customize asset management tools for specific client needs.
  • Expertise in software compliance and managing audits for vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based asset management solutions is a plus.

4. Training and Presentation Skills:

  • Experience in delivering training to both individuals and groups on SAM/HAM/ITAM principles and best practices.
  • Ability to create training materials (slides, manuals, videos) to aid in the learning process.
  • Comfortable conducting workshops or webinars for organizations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for engaging audiences.
  • Ability to explain complex IT asset management topics in a clear and accessible way.

5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering training sessions, writing documentation, and engaging with clients or teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, legal, and compliance departments.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering professional services.

6. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights on asset utilization, compliance, and cost optimization.

  • Problem-solving ability in optimizing software and hardware asset usage.

7. Project Management:

  • Strong project management skills, including experience managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets in training or freelance projects.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.

8. Availability:

  • Ability to work freelance or as an independent contractor.
